WWE Night Of Champions: Who Is Ambrose & Reigns' Mystery Partner?
Six man tag match is announced for the PPV.
A new match has been announced for WWE Night of Champions of September 20: The Wyatt Family trio of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and newcomer Braun Strowman versus Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and a partner of their choosing. It was set up at the end of this week's Smackdown. The match makes sense since Strowman has terrorized Ambrose and Reigns in the last two weeks. WWE has made sure to make Strowman look like an indestructible monster by not having him sell much at all while continuing to dominate the popular Ambrose/Reigns duo. There's no word on who the partner might be, but if they decide to choose a current babyface on the main roster then names like Randy Orton and Cesaro come to mind. Orton still might have an issues with Sheamus since they are 1-1 in their most recent series of matches. Cesaro is without a feud at the moment and the fans love the guy, so he could be slotted in there pretty easily. Former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan has been out of action with a torn biceps injury that required surgery. He's not expected to be ready yet, so it probably won't be him. If WWE wanted to call up somebody from NXT then perhaps Samoa Joe or Finn Balor would be a good fit. The problem is that the NXT brand needs those guys to headline their shows, so if they bring one of them up to the main roster right now then it hurts NXT a bit. Plus, if the idea is to put Strowman over then it's not the best way to debut those guys. There are some other options too, but for now it's not known who the partner will be. There are two more weeks of TV to go until Night of Champions, so it will be known soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2J_d-30dQN4
