WWE No Mercy 2016: 10 Things You May Have Missed

6. Alberto Del Rio Was Cut From The WWE 2K17 Advert

The 'Suplex City' advert for WWE 2K17 doesn't show any gameplay footage. In fact, the cover art for the upcoming game is only briefly shown at the end of the segment. Stars such as Sheamus, Dean Ambrose and Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar appear in person, with the latter pairing obviously taking the lead near the end.

Previously, Alberto Del Rio shot a menacing glare at the camera when it panned round. As the scene enters a typical bar, the Mexican star could be seen sitting with his back to the viewer. That part of the clip still remains, however WWE have removed Del Rio's face from the ad.

Del Rio provided a link between shots before, he was shown just as the camera was then chased off by an aggressive Sheamus. That part has been taken out of the advert completely, at least in the one shown at No Mercy.

The man's back is still visible, so technically Del Rio is still involved. It's interesting that his face has been taken out though, because that's definitely a new tweak to the ad.
