In all fairness, Cena equalling Flair's record is a compelling enough story to maybe justify a title change - although I'd still much prefer Styles to remain a strong champion for now. If it does change hands, Ambrose should certainly take the fall, further stoking his frustration with a view to a potential heel turn.
However, if John does walk out champion, AJ should absolutely regain the belt quickly. He's simply too good not to be champion right now, and it would probably lead to Cena going for a record-breaking number at WrestleMania, which is a far more dramatic story.
