3. No Way Out 2002
NWO brought in Prior to the Pay Per View, Ric Flair had been brought in as the co-owner of the WWE (then WWF), having unknowingly to Vince, bought a share in the company that McMahon was selling off. McMahon couldn't hack it anymore and threatened to inject WWE with a poison that would give his company terminal cancer, the poison being the New World Order which consisted of the three original members Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Whilst neither man wrestled on the night their appearance mainly consisted of backstage skits and an in ring promo. Neither man had been seen in a WWE ring since their departure to WCWs in the mid 90s, having built up the New World Order as part WCW's transition to the new era. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7YI7ySPEb8 Appearing in front of the live crowd it was obvious the fans were glad to see them back, cheering for each member as they took the mic and popping hard for Scott Hall's patented 'Hey Yo' remark. They pleaded that they were there for the second chance, thanking Vince for the opportunity, yet we were led to believe that the NWO era was upon us again.
