WWE NXT: 10 Best Non-Indy Wrestlers
6. Bo Dallas
Another top star from FCW, Bo Dallas was pushed from the start.
Capable in the ring and handsome enough to slap on a poster, he was positioned as one of NXTs top babyfaces. Fans tolerated him at first, but once established indy veterans like Seth Rollins, Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn arrived on the scene, he was quickly cast aside like a new pair of socks on Christmas morning.
Still his push continued and he was eventually crowned NXT Champion. By that point fans were sick of his super cheery generic babyface character and booed him relentlessly. As it happened, Triple H and Dusty Rhodes were paying attention and brilliantly turned him heel - as the exact same character.
Bo would come down to the ring with that gigantic grin and drone on about winning matches for the fans and how much he loved them. How he owed all his success to just Bo-lieving in himself. It was unbearably cheesey and it got him damn near nuclear heat as a heel.
Bo wouldn't have nearly as much success on the main roster, but his lengthy title reign and ability to get under the fans' skin made him a big player in the early days of NXT and to forget that would do him a huge disservice.
