7. Breezango Steal One, But Imperium Have A Banner Night

With Imperium's dominant leader across the pond WALTER demanding that his stateside contingent clean up NXT and rid the brand of fools and jokers, Breezango found themselves with the unenviable task of taking on the stoic duo of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

Quickly reminding those inside the CWC why these two teams always hold the potential to create unexpected magic, the hard-hitting Europeans made mince meat of Fandango and Tyler Breeze with a nasty array of chops and slams. Yet, the former NXT Tag Team Champions are no slouches and answered back with a Fandango dive over the top rope, and ultimately came away with the victory on the back of a sudden roll-up from Breeze.

Say what you want about cheap "surprise" finishes, but this particular variety helped keep both teams looking strong, mostly thanks to Imperium's decision to let rip with a Eurobomb following their embarrassing defeat, without feeling like a complete waste of time or the talents of those involved.

Will WALTER be content with the sight of Breeze being covered in an Imperium banner, despite the fact his squad ultimately couldn't get the job done last night? Expect another raging Zoom call in the not too distant future...
