This seems to be another case of WWE flagship having things ass-backwards. In recent years, they've moved towards wrestlers using realistic sounding names and surnames, as they feel that its more realistic. Which is fine, a touch of legitimacy in the right place can do wonders, but again I come back to the argument that wrestling is storytelling. I know these guys names, but I don't know what their motivations are or how they'd react in situations, so it doesn't draw me in. Whereas if I see Tyler Breeze, an incredibly vain priss taking selfies, its not a great leap to assume he probably wont like being hit in his pretty face. Maybe I want to see that happen and see what he'd do! Its not rocket science to actually give the characters in your story some personality and, you know... character. So again, seeing how much NXT prides themselves on this is very reassuring.
