WWE NXT ARRIVAL Review - 5 Things We Learned

1. Adrian Neville Is The New NXT Champion

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iq-x8bOuZM A while back, I wrote an article about 12 wrestlers WWE need to build their future around I left Adrian Neville off because I didn't see WWE putting much faith in him anytime soon. I am now delighted to eat my words. To date, there have only been four NXT Champions, and its normally an indicator of things to come. They have been Seth Rollins, Big E Langston, Bo Dallas and now the Jumping Geordie, Adrian Neville. Rollins and Langston have both held gold in WWE, and now that Dallas has dropped the belt, it seems like a matter of time before he's called up to the main roster. The Man That Gravity Forgot is now the standard bearer in NXT. Despite relatively poor mic skills and a criminally unmarketable name, Neville's in-ring highflying style has wowed NXT audiences, and when I found out that his title match would be his first ever ladder match, I nearly wet myself with excitement. The match was stellar, and I can only dream and salivate in anticipation when he eventually makes it to a Money In The Bank match. Which is more than likely, as holding NXT gold means at some point, you're going to hold WWE gold. If this is the next generation, the future looks bright for WWE. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Stephen Maher has been a rock star, a bouncer, a banker and a busker on various streets in various countries. He's hung out with Robert Plant, he was at Nelson Mandela's birthday and he's swapped stories with prostitutes and crack addicts. He once performed at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by accident. These days, he passes the time by writing about music, wrestling, games and other forms of nerdery. And he rarely drinks the blood of the innocent.
