When I was in attendance at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn, they opened the show with Enzo and Cass and the New York crowd went insane, it was such a huge response, I felt like Id been transported back to the Attitude Era where even the opening acts are hugely popular with the audience. Triple H had mentioned on the conference call that some of these talents hadnt worked overseas so its feasible that Enzo and Cass mightve been a little nervous coming to the UK incase the fans dont respond in the same way. In Glasgow, the guys had nothing to worry about because as soon as that music hit, the crowd went wild and it was a great, energetic way to open the show. Blake and Murphy were a solid choice for opponents against the David and Goliath team. Carmella accompanied her boys but Alexa Bliss, strangely, didnt come out with her team. During the action, there was a sequence where Big Cass got the hot tag and hit a lot of power moves that the crowd were really into. Earlier this year, I questioned in my head whether their act would work on the main roster but theyre developing a really interesting dynamic and with the right vignettes and promos, theyd be a great addition to the main roster.
