WWE NXT Live Glasgow - 10 Live Observations

10. Enzo & Cass Tear Down The House

When I was in attendance at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn, they opened the show with Enzo and Cass and the New York crowd went insane, it was such a huge response, I felt like I€™d been transported back to the Attitude Era where even the opening acts are hugely popular with the audience. Triple H had mentioned on the conference call that some of these talents hadn€™t worked overseas so it€™s feasible that Enzo and Cass might€™ve been a little nervous coming to the UK incase the fans don€™t respond in the same way. In Glasgow, the guys had nothing to worry about because as soon as that music hit, the crowd went wild and it was a great, energetic way to open the show. Blake and Murphy were a solid choice for opponents against the David and Goliath team. Carmella accompanied her boys but Alexa Bliss, strangely, didn€™t come out with her team. During the action, there was a sequence where Big Cass got the hot tag and hit a lot of power moves that the crowd were really into. Earlier this year, I questioned in my head whether their act would work on the main roster but they€™re developing a really interesting dynamic and with the right vignettes and promos, they€™d be a great addition to the main roster.
