On Friday night, WWEs NXT Tour rolled into Glasgow, Scotland and I got a chance to go along and check out the show. Glasgow fans are always a rabid crowd, with a plethora of exciting local promotions in the area where fans can check out great wrestling on a regular basis. From the moment we entered the SSE Hydro, there was an atmosphere in the crowd that I havent heard at a WWE house show crowd in a long time. At the merchandise stands, there were fans picking up tons of t-shirts for Enzo & Cass, Finn Balor and of course, Bayley. There were a few local celebrities in the audience as ICW owner Mark Dallas was in attendance for the show along with BBC Insane Fight Club star, Jack Jester. Seeing those guys at the show, just made it feel even more special and like this was a brand that brought everybody to the arena. When we got to our seats, there were signs galore and a sense of anticipation to see the future of the WWE that weve all been cheering through the WWE Network for the past year or two. While the setup of the arena was minimal, I was impressed with the titantron they had brought over for the show, making it feel like a big event. At the beginning of the show, Triple H welcomed everyone to the tour with a pre-taped promo before they played the NXT opening video package from the weekly television show. Let's find out how the show fared from there...
