Watching from ringside, Finn Balor knows what it's like to capture the NXT Championship. The Irishman must have been proud to see Shinsuke Nakamura have that experience, especially in front of such a huge crowd. The Japanese star is exactly that, a star, and he's the right man to be on top in NXT right now.

Credit must go to Samoa Joe, he did everything to make his peer look like a million bucks in Brooklyn. Definitely the more monstrous and intimidating of the pair, Joe sold Nakamura's Kinshasa knee strikes like they had knocked his head off. In particular, the match-winning second one looked like it had caved his face in.

Fans were on their feet for the final few minutes of the match, popping wildly when Nakamura bagged the gold. His next challenge is yet to be determined, but few were thinking of that in Brooklyn. Instead, everybody just wanted in on the party, thrilled that one of Japan's greatest exports was handed such a massive victory.
