The storyline involving Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano is just begging for the former to turn rogue on his regular partner. After all, it's Gargano who effectively let the side down in this NXT Tag-Team Title match, tapping out and allowing The Revival to leave with the gold they walked in wearing.

Without doubt one of the better matches on the show from bell-to-bell, The Revival vs. Gargano and Ciampa (who are trying to get over the DIY name) had an old-school flavour to it that more seasoned fans will appreciate. It also didn't hurt that the ending was utterly superb and worked a treat.

It looked like Gargano had Dash Wilder pinned, before Scott Dawson placed his partner's foot on the ropes. The referee counted the pin, but then reversed his decision upon seeing the aforementioned limb dangling over the bottom rope.

That seemed to suck the air out of the crowd, who had been ready to celebrate along with new tag champs. It wasn't to be though, gaining The Revival super-heat when they managed to retain. Wonderful stuff.
