Shinsuke Nakamura's signing was confirmed long before the official press conference. In January, Nakamura informed Tokyo Sports that he would join WWE after finishing his New Japan Pro Wrestling commitments. Even though the acquisition of Nakamura was officially announced following Fastlane in February, seeing The King of Strong Style live and in the flesh was almost a surreal experience. To the delight of fans not just limited to Japan, Nakamura appeared in much the same vein as he had over the course of his 14-year NJPW career. Displaying strength, speed, technical skill, and of course his trademark flamboyancy, the Japanese legend-in-the-making appears to be a fan favourite after just one match.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
