WWE NXT Takeover London - 10 Interesting Observations From Attending Live

6. Jordan & Gable Are STUPIDLY Over

During the week, a video from Blackpool did the rounds on social media of fans at that show singing Jordan and Gable€™s name to the tune of €œNo Limits€, a hugely popular European dance song of the 1990s by Dutch duo 2 Unlimited. This, like many other crowd chants at the show, is popular with football crowds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkEXGgdqMz8 Jordan & Gable were involved in the very first match of the night, before the live special, which was recorded for NXT€™s regular television show. They won a four way tag team match which also featured The Vaudevillains, The Hype Bros (who were roundly booed by the crowd) and Blake & Murphy (they got booed, Alexa Bliss was cheered). As this was the first match of the night, the crowd were hot, and this should come across superbly on television. Jordan & Gable appeared to be loving the adulation of the crowd (although, being a taping, they couldn€™t dance along in the ring like they did in Blackpool). They were easily one of the most popular acts on the whole show, and surely an NXT Tag Team Title run can€™t be far away. After a very short match between Bull Dempsey and Elias Sampson (who nobody knew or cared about), we were ready to kick off the live special. Triple H appeared in the ring (for those keeping track, today, Triple H was a face), completely no-sold the beating he took from Roman Reigns at TLC, and welcomed us to the show. And they wonder why they struggle to get Reigns over as a top face.
