WWE NXT's 31 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best
30. Angelo Dawkins
Pros:
1. National collegiate champion in wrestling, football and track
2. Has great physical presence at 6'5" and 280 lbs
3. Is no longer a pro-wrestling pastiche of Childish Gambino
Cons:
1. Was at one point a pro-wrestling pastiche of Childish Gambino
2. According to his WWE.com profile, his signature move is "Cincinnati, Ohio"
3. No, seriously, it says that
Angelo Dawkins is another casualty of WWE hiring great collegiate wrestlers, then realizing that the odds of finding another Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar or even Shelton Benjamin are frightfully slim. Much like Sawyer Fulton, Dawkins started out as a gimmickless rookie, then got a goofy gimmick that flopped hard, before being repackaged as, surprise surprise, a tough collegiate wrestler.
Unfortunately, Shoot Nation has yet to make much of an impact on NXT, and they are routinely fodder for better teams like Blake/Murphy and the Realest Guys in the Room. Perhaps someday they will be able to channel their inner Steiners and leave the tag team division in a pile, but those days seem like they're probably not right around the corner.
