WWE NXT's 31 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Kevin Owens
Pros:
1. Absolute master of psychology
2. Can sail through the air like a cruiserweight
3. He doesn't, because the audience wants him to
Cons:
1. Quite small for a WWE monster heel
2. May have alienated some of his peers because of his apparent fast track
3. Now has to fulfill massive main roster expectations
The Kevin Owens character is a gigantic pile of human garbage: cruel on offense, cowardly on defense, willing to permanently injure opponents and unwilling to look them in the eye. He is also insanely compelling.
He's been absolutely killing it ever since his first night in NXT, and be shows no signs of slowing down. He's made ALEX RILEY of all people into a semi-credible babyface, simply by treating the former Varsity Villain as a has-been. He understands when to be a monster and when to be a coward. He'll fight through EMTs to keep administering a beating, but stumble up the ramp in a panic when a babyface comes to stop him.
He'll try to cripple his best friend, but can't look him in the eye and tell him why. Despite all of this, a substantial section of the crowd treats him as a babyface simply because of how GOOD he is. Kevin Owens isn't just a future superstar. He's there already, knocking on the door.
