WWE Old School RAW Is New School Disappointment
ANTONIO CESARO VS RYBACK Props to Cesaro for wearing Old School attire, despite only being with the company for a little more than a year. At least someone gets it. This match wasnt too bad. The match wasnt the best for either guy in recent weeks, but it was serviceable. Ryback countering Cesaros finisher into his own was cool. Again, this match continues the trend of Lets have the champion lose matches but not lose the title. I dont get it. Ryback could be the US champion. There isnt anything wrong with that. Regardless, Ryback picks up a win. The best part of this match was when Ryback and Mark Henry had a stare down in the aisle as Mark Henry was coming out for his match. I like the idea of Henry vs. Ryback at Wrestlemania more than I probably should. MARK HENRY VS ZACK RYDER In the time it takes me to write this sentence, I could have watched Zack Ryder vs. Mark Henry seven times. This was a squash by Henry. Looks like Ryder will have to enjoy having over 1 million Twitter Broskis and never getting another win again. Im torn on my feelings for Zack Ryder. I was one of the early adopters of Z! True Long Island Story and really enjoyed Zack Ryder taking his career into his own hands and keeping his job. Now, though, Zack Ryder is just kinda, there. He doesnt do anything, isnt in a feud, and is essentially back to being a jobber. It is what it is, though. Ill keep supporting Zack Ryder but he needs to reinvent himself again or else he may be out the doorski post Wrestlemania. DOLPH ZIGGLER VS THE MIZ Ive been playing a lot of games lately on Xbox 360. Ive been downloading some older games like Oblivion since I really liked Skyrim. Its good but it definitely takes some time getting used to the way the game looks as opposed to Skyrim. Oh, sorry, I just wanted to talk about some things I enjoy doing before I once again write DOLPH ZIGGLER LOSES. He lost to the Miz. A guy who cant even put on the Figure Four without having Ric Flair hold his hand while doing it. Even then, he still manages to mess it up. Im not a Miz hater, Ive been a fan since he took a hammer to an ice sculpture on Real World/Road Rules Challenge. But cmon, give Ziggler a win. I know its Old School night or whatever, but let Ziggler win and then let Flair elbow his glitter jacket post match. You still get a pop from the crowd and Ziggler actually gets to win. WHY WONT YOU LET ME HAVE THIS, WWE? WHY?! To be fair, and I know this might be sacrilege, Ive never been a Ric Flair fan so to see one of my current favorites lose just because Ric Flair is there, pours an entire truck filled with salt on the wound.
