WWE Old School RAW Is New School Disappointment

THE ROCK VS JOHN CENA: MASTER DEBATING I don€™t think the WWE knows what Point/Counterpoint actually is. This segment was just The Rock and John Cena agreeing with each other. Of course The Rock spent several minutes pandering to the Buffalo crowd about how cold it is. Overall, though, this was probably the most professional interaction the two have had since The Rock has come back. They didn€™t once call each other gay so that€™s an improvement. It went on for a little bit too long, but like I said, not bad overall. The dig at Lance Armstrong was well placed and shows that Vince McMahon sometimes has his writers come up with timely subject manners (you know, when he isn€™t forcing them to write jokes from The Office). I€™m still not hyped for the rematch at Wrestlemania. I think Once In A Lifetime should actually mean something. It doesn€™t, though, so I guess we will have to see how the rematch goes, despite how uninterested I am. JACK SWAGGER VS HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN Looks like the €œPut a shirt on Rey Mysterio€ rule finally applies to Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Hacksaw€™s floppy man boobs are something that I never need to see ever again. Let those be left in Old School. This match didn€™t make much sense. I don€™t know how beating up other American€™s makes you more American unless Jack Swagger is absorbing their Americanness like Shang Tsung. This match never started. Instead, Jack Swagger just beat the crap out of Hacksaw and Sgt. Slaughter with the 2x4. I don€™t know why Hacksaw was acting like Swagger using a 2x4 was a bad thing. It€™s your own fault for bringing it to the ring. Jack Swagger continues his mean streak and keeps his momentum going into Wrestlemania. THE PRIMETIME PLAYERS VS TEAM HELL NO The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase was at ringside for this one. The Primetime Players would gain the managerial services of him if they could take out Team Hell No. DiBiase teaming with the Primetime Players makes a lot of sense since the PTP are all about MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Naturally, they lost because things aren€™t allowed to make sense. This is the second week in a row that we€™ve seen this match, only this week there were less gimmicks. I am a huge fan of the Primetime Players and think they could really be a classic tag team. They have good in-ring skills and Titus O€™Neil is hilarious. Sadly, they look to be stuck in the role of Epico/Primo for the time being with no end in sight.
