The verdict is in, and it's a good one for both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. If KO's rivalry with Dean Ambrose at the turn of the year felt impressive, the Canadian has only upped the ante with his fellow countryman. Zayn and Owens are knocking it out of the park right now, and long may it continue.

Listen to that fan response once Zayn returned from the backstage area, ambushing Owens as he provided commentary on the bout between The Miz and Cesaro. There was a buzz in the air that's rarely felt nowadays, like anything could happen between the pair.

Everything Owens and Zayn are touching is turning to solid gold, their feud simply must proceed without any unnecessary interruption from those calling the shots. By contrast, Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose struggled to really extract those big reactions from the fans, that says it all.

Both those men are veterans too, but there's a real story to Zayn vs. Owens that people can't shift from their minds. Right now, they are contesting WWE's hottest situation by far.
