The reception to any comeback spots from Dean Ambrose felt oddly muted at Payback. Fans were reacting, but they were much louder for Chris Jericho, who had to work overtime to keep the fans jeering him. The fact he managed to get people hating on him shows just how great a villain Y2J is.

At the moment, it's arguable who is the better heel in WWE, Chris Jericho or Kevin Owens. Both have different nuances that help differentiate their work, but then there are similarities. For example, Owens is a bit more of a brawler than his fellow Canadian, but the pair both trash talk to fans and opponents alike during matches.

There's a case to be made that Charlotte could be thrown into the mix too, she has developed into a striking rogue. Topping Owens or Jericho is a tall order however, those men definitely stand out from the rest of the crowd.

It's refreshing to have legitimate heels again, wrestlers fans may like to watch work, but also enjoy to see lose.
