WWE Payback 2017: 10 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

7. Angle's First Pay-Per-View

It's been just under a month since Vince McMahon revealed Kurt Angle as the new General Manager of Monday Night Raw in the absence of an injured Stephanie McMahon and the fired Mick Foley.

In storyline terms, Payback is not exactly a banner supershow to kick off Kurt's reign on Monday nights, but as the television character he's been employed to play, Angle has been a delight.

His limited interactions thus far have awoken fond memories of his comedy alongside Edge, Christian, Steve Austin and others, but his firm hand on the tiller has reminded audiences that he's more than comfortable to handle himself physically should the need arise.

As yet, only frustration with the Braun Strowman's weekly chaos-causing has (justifiably) drawn the Olympic Gold Medallist into conflict, which may be a feature when the 'Mountain of a Man' finally squares off again with arch-rival Roman Reigns (more on that later).

Beyond that, it will be exciting to see Angle interact on a bigger stage, and hopefully have the opportunity to share the screen with talents he's yet to spar with. Bonus segments with SmackDown Live! performers Randy Orton and Kevin Owens would likely yield excellent output, especially with brand split severance separating the characters immediately after.
