SummerSlam's Kickoff match between MVP and Apollo Crews came with an added caveat: Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin were banned from ringside and the fires of hell would rain down upon them if they tried to help their 'Hurt Business' leader. That's not the case for Lashley's shot at the US Title come Payback.

This doesn't, however, mean that the heels should take the belt from Apollo just yet. Being brutally honest, he needs that thing more than they do - the 'Hurt Business' lads are over thanks to MVP's chit-chat, but Crews doesn't really have much going for him without the title.

WWE have work to do with his character before he could survive that.

The best booking strategy in this one would be a DQ win for Crews. He can start to run rings round Bobby, causing either MVP or Benjamin to do the dirty and live to fight another day. So long as Lashley doesn't squash Apollo, it's fine.
