It'd feel like WWE 101 if Bayley and Sasha Banks went from holding all the gold they could to losing everything in just one week. Storytelling like that is the kind this company love, so don't be too stunned if the unlikely Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax team win those Women's Tag belts at Payback.

Should they? Christ no, but WWE might not be able to resist the tried-and-tested 'odd couple' story for a month or two. Plus, they're starting to tease more and more that Bayley and Sasha are about to splinter all over again, and might view this as a real watershed moment in their on screen relationship.

The problem is that WWE's female tag straps have credibility on Sasha and Bayley, and those titles have had such a tumultuous record that another run on two lumped-together workers could be disastrous. Nia and Shayna don't need those titles to feud - they really, really don't.
