It's true that somebody's match needed to take that lowly Kickoff berth at SummerSlam, but it was hardly a huge vote of confidence for Apollo Crews as United States Champ that it was his. WWE's track record when it comes to Crews isn't the best, and it might get worse at Payback.

He could be heading right back down the pecking order.

Despite having the verbal skills of your average stapler, Bobby Lashley has been rescued by MVP's brilliant mic work over the past number of months. This could be creative's excuse to stick another secondary belt on Bob and try again (just like they did with the Intercontinental prize last year) with him in the champion role.

It'd be a nightmare for Apollo if he got squashed in some quick four-five minute match. Unfortunately for him, he got the upper hand on Raw, and everyone knows what that means. There's a decent chance he's taking a loss on Sunday.
