WWE Payback 2020: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True
5. The Card Has Too Many 'TV Matches'

Also, fingers crossed WWE avoid this.
Payback is, without doubt, a less important pay-per-view on the calendar than SummerSlam. It can arguably sustain a few weaker matches then, but not too many. The show already has a Women's Tag-Team Title bout few asked for, and a rematch from Raw between brand new boy Keith Lee and Randy Orton.
WWE need to be mindful not to stick a whole bunch of matches better suited for TV on the show. Aleister Black vs. KO, Matt Riddle vs. 'King' Corbin and even Big E vs. The Miz (following Talking Smack's return) are all possible. The first needs a bit more build, the second would be better off on SmackDown and the third? Maybe not at all.
SummerSlam was three and a half hours in length, but never outstayed its welcome. WWE should look at the shorter run time for shows like Money In The Bank and Extreme Rules when formatting Payback. It doesn't need to be three-four hours long.
