WWE Payback 2020: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Bray Wyatt = Transitional Champion

Not many workers could repeatedly eat sh*t and poop out nuggets of gold like Bray Wyatt does.

Since becoming the 'Fiend' last year, Wyatt has been asked to make the best of some real nonsense, and he's done so courageously. He palmed off the Hell In A Cell debacle with Seth Rollins, survived being squashed by Goldberg and even kept his head up as others nodded off during his feud with Braun Strowman.

Now, he's Universal Champion again, and his biggest supporters must wish WWE would strap a rocket to Bray and let his natural creativity take over. The sad truth is that they're probably never going to - Wyatt is a transitional champ again. Don't let WWE's commentary hype fool you. He's there to do the job for Roman Reigns eventually.

It could happen at Payback. That'd be a travesty of justice for a good company man who never seems to complain about his lot (even when it's awful), but it could happen. Fingers crossed Bray isn't only holding this belt for one week.
