Everyone watching Payback expects Becky Lynch to win what's being touted as a feud-closing cage match vs. Trish Stratus. Admittedly, whilst certain parts have been enjoyable, WWE has turned the rivalry into a bit of a mess, so most fans fancy seeing it wrapped up here.

Ready for that curveball?

Becky shouldn't win. Trish should. Honestly, this writer believes there's way more value in Stratus spinning out of this feud with that singles grudge match win in her back pocket. Then, she can brag about it whilst elevating other babyfaces in the women's division during her Roman Reigns-ish acknowledgement crusade.

Put it this way: Seeing a younger star do what Lynch couldn't would be hammered home on comms and give them further credibility. What about that big return teased during the intro to this piece though? Well, that'd extend Trish vs. Becks a little further and necessitate a bumper tag-team showdown for Fastlane or another PLE.
