WWE are actually marketing Daniel Bryan's title decision as a reason to buy the show, so it's only right we make a prediction about what will happen. The tease is that Stephanie McMahon has blackmailed Bryan, laying the ultimatum down that Bryan must do the right thing and resign the WWE title. If he doesn't do this, Stephanie says she will fire Brie Bella, calling her recent behaviour a sackable offence. It's a pretty silly angle and an example of WWE really scratching the barrel to create interest in the show. Another point to make is that the whole angle kind of makes it all about Stephane and Brie. Is this really the best storyline WWE could come up with for Daniel Bryan as WWE Champion? The title and Bryan are both being weakened from all of this. The expected outcome this Sunday is that there'll be some sort of swerve, Bryan will find a way to keep Brie's job as well as his title. Despite the time out with his neck injury, it simply isn't imaginable that WWE could take the title off of Bryan at this early stage in his reign. He isn't going to be out of action much longer, so there's really no point in doing an angle to remove the belt. He will finish the night still as WWE Champion.
