6. The Shield

The Shield have run roughshod over all of the WWE for the last year, but you can see the signs that the WWE is getting ready to break them up. Ambrose has had two great matches with CM Punk and Roman Reigns was fantastic at Survivor Series. Add to this what went down at TLC and it's clear that the WWE feel that they are ready to make the next big step as single competitors. So, when do the cracks become irreparable? The Royal Rumble seems like the best starting point, with Ambrose and Rollins stabbing Reigns in the back and tossing him over the ropes. From here, the Shield can go to the Elimination Chamber in 3 of the pods and Reigns and Rollins maybe gang up on Ambrose, who takes the beating and the pin. At Wrestlemania, therefore, the once tight group is now no longer even speaking to one another. Nobody trusts anyone else, and a Triple Threat match is made- which Reigns wins. If Ambrose is still holding the US Title at the time, it may even be a great United States Championship Match and a great way to add some prestige to a title that is basically forgotten at the moment.
