The above picture may seem like a strange sight to consider Jimmy Uso a power player this week, but the second generation superstar had a big week for that exact reason. The Tag Team Champions have been brought in to fight by John Cena's side (or, more accurately, in his place) in his rivalry with Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family. This has seen them getting involved in quite a few brawls and matches with the trio. On Raw they were the final save from the Wyatts, helping out Jerry Lawler and John Cena to fend off the attack. The remainder of their week was not successful in victories, as they lost to Harper and Rowan on Main Event, but the second loss of their week actually made Jimmy Uso look great. After the post-match beating Jimmy took on Main Event, he faced Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match in the main event of SmackDown. Jimmy came up short, but he did so after him and Jey fell victim to the numbers game. Until that point Jimmy had been holding his own with the man who is embroiled in a feud with the 'Face of the WWE'. Jimmy's failed but valiant effort was reminiscent of Jeff Hardy in the Attitude Era, and if The Usos can step into the Hardy Boys role then great success will remain in their path. The twins may never become solo stars, but Jimmy showed that he is perfectly capable of having good singles matches.
