WWE Power Rankings - June 1, 2014

8. Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd is one of the best all-round performers in the WWE. This is not an unrecognised fact. The likes of CM Punk and Bret Hart have been very vocal, on WWE TV, about their support for the Canadian who simply needs to be given a chance by the company. Yet, at 33 years of age, he is still lacking attention on everything except Total Divas. Until he started to get involved in NXT that is. Kidd is a phenomenal talent and can have name value thanks to being the final graduate of The Hart Dungeon, and during the past month or so on NXT he has shown exactly what he can do. The culmination of that was challenging NXT Champion, Adrian Neville in the main event of NXT Takeover. Kidd came up short but the match was so good that WWE management eyes have to back on the superstar and looking for a way to utilise him on WWE programming. He appeared to turn heel after the match by refusing to shake hands and this could be the beginning of a character change that can build him back up to the main roster and perhaps even some long overdue singles success.
