Victory was not enough for The Shield at Payback, seeing off their rivals Evolution in a clean sweep of eliminations. Seth Rollins - Batista, then Ambrose - Orton and finally Reigns defeated Triple H himself to seal the victory. The match of the night - and week - went to the young blood. They continued to be the talk of the wrestling world once again on Raw but this time for very different reasons. Fans were horrified at Seth Rollins betrayal of the group, leaving them laying and Ambrose's heartbroken and confused face summed it all up. Even in the state of an imploded Shield, the group (now a duo) look a threatening force and all three look set to be individual stars pretty soon.
