WWE Power Rankings - May 4th 2014

2. Paul Heyman

Quite possibly the best talker in the business, Heyman has had several roles this week. As he himself pointed out, he uncharacteristically tried his hand at comedy to fun results as his "Knock, knock" joke resulted in yet another (and potentially final) reference to "Mike-Lient" conquering The Streak. Pulling Coulter's moustache to cause the distraction for Cesaro was another unusual thing for his character, but he did say that he doesn't care how he gets success for his clients. Earlier backstage Heyman actually acknowledged Coulter and Van Dam's claims of him being a sneaky liar and embraced them. This was a great way for WWE to keep Cesaro and Heyman looking like smart individuals as they made it clear that their arrangement is mutually about success and not caring how they get there. Continues to blur the lines for fans about Cesaro though. Heyman made his presence felt on SmackDown by being ringside with his client Cesaro during a match between Van Dam and Swagger with the two standing tall by the end of it.
