WWE: Ranking 5 Best & Worst Belt Designs In WWE History

5 Worst...

5. ECW World Heavyweight Championship (2008-2010)

The ECW championship during its hay day was one of the greatest looking belts in history. Its design was regal yet a little extreme to coincide with the promotions look and feel. It was a piece of rounded loveliness that really reflected the champion and the product. When WWE got involved with ECW and brought to us the abortion that was ECW/E they introduced a new World Championship belt. And it was unbelievably ugly. Right from the off the silver simply doesn€™t work on a championship belt but it€™s almost as if the designers didn€™t really understand the history of the company. It could be that they wanted it to fit in with the Big Gold Boy and the Blingy Bling of the WWE Championship but it simply looked cheap. Not at all prestigious and looked wrong when it represented the late great EC-Dub.
