3. Mr. T vs. Roddy Piper - Boxing Match - WrestleMania 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SePDXQL8EX0 The other worked boxing match that appeared on a WrestleMania card though Mayweather/Show was a hybrid match, while this was straight boxing. Future Hall-of-Famer Mr. T went three rounds plus with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, throwing almost comical haymakers for the last third of the match. As this was in the pre-internet era, fans weren't so much as concerned about phantom or pulled punches. It was the personalities and the history between the two that made this totally watchable. Piper and T had locked up previously (more on that in a minute) and Roddy was the perfect villain to cast against Mr. T, who was one of the biggest TV stars at the time. They put on a perfectly serviceable match and gave an otherwise bland WrestleMania at least one memorable moment.
