WWE: Ranking Ric Flair's 16 World Title Runs - From Worst To Best

9. WCW World Championship (4th WCW, 13th Overall) February 11, 1996 - April 22, 1996

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjoVmZ7Egdo The rivalry between Randy Savage and Ric Flair is front and center in this reign once again as a familiar face crossed lines, an always shaky and volatile alliance reformed as several of the biggest names in wrestling from the '80s and '90s converged in the same ring for one of the few times in wrestling history. Flair won the championship from Savage in a Steel Cage Match at SuperBrawl 6 that was highlighted by Macho Man's longtime manager/valet Miss Elizabeth turning on Savage and joining Flair and the Four Horsemen when she aided Flair in securing the pinfall by giving him her high heel shoe. The main event at the next month's Uncensored was a reuniting of the Mega Powers, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage as they defeated Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan, Meng and a host of others in the return of the Doomsday Steel Cage which Savage and Hogan were victorious in after Savage pinned Flair. Flair lost the championship to The Giant on the April 22 edition of Nitro in Albany, Georgia, a victim of the Chokeslam from the 7-footer. Again another time where Flair was a transition champion and the championship was used almost as a prop to further the rivalry between Flair and Savage which was wrapped up for the time being with the match at Uncensored.
