WWE Raw: 10 Things To Expect Tonight

8. Kalisto's Fairytale Comes To An End

Of all the quarter finals in the WWE Tag Tournament, Kalisto vs. Del Rio is the hardest to predict. Logic would dictate that, as the higher-placed wrestler on the card, US Champion Alberto should make short work of the Lucha Dragon (no pun intended). However, Kalisto's shocking upset victory over Ryback on SmackDown could throw a wrench into the mix, raising the possibility of a big push for the unassuming tag team wrestler. WWE's desire for a marketable Latino superstar is well known, and this could well be the start of a massive boost. All in all, I still believe Del Rio will win. Although Kalisto's underdog run would make for a far more compelling storyline, WWE will want Reigns to go over a heel in the semi-finals. A win over Kalisto would portray him as a little merciless, and wouldn't be consistent with the battling babyface contender they've billed him as so far.
