WWE Raw: 10 Things To Expect Tonight

6. The Continued Rise Of Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens should find himself booked into a semi final match by the end of this week's Raw, and for good reason. The Intercontinental Champion has been rapidly gaining steam since winning the belt, and suddenly finds himself one of the biggest heels on the entire roster after Rollins' injury. Like every other quarter final match, his bout with Neville has the potential to be a great encounter - especially with Neville on something of a run of form recently. The Englishman has enjoyed a second wind after slumping slightly in the months following his debut. He enjoyed a captivating encounter against Wade Barrett on SmackDown, and should have an even better clash with Owens this week. Let's not kid ourselves here though - Kevin's definitely going to win the match. I'd even suggest Owens could find himself in the tournament final, should WWE tread a slightly less-obvious path. All signs point to an Ambrose vs. Reigns final, with a potential view to some sort of heel turn for one man or the other. Instead, the Canadian could screw Ambrose over in the semi finals, only for Dean to interfere in the final and shockingly blast Roman instead. Of course, Reigns would probably still find a way to win, further putting him over as the next big babyface megastar. Either way, don't be surprised to see Owens heavily involved in the business end of the tournament.
