On last week's Raw, the show closed out with Kevin Owens becoming the new WWE Universal Champion. Directly aided in his efforts by a rampant Triple H, Owens pinned Seth Rollins. Moments earlier, Rollins had beaten Roman Reigns, another victim of a Pedigree by 'The Game' (this time on the outside of the ring).

Ironically, Reigns wasn't really missed before he showed up this week. Right after Owens had pinned Sami Zayn, Roman marched down to the ring for a stare down with the new champ. Mick Foley made his entrance, revealing that Reigns would face Owens on Raw next time. Should he win, he'll be added to the Clash Of Champions main event, making it a Triple Threat between KO, Rollins and Roman.

The set-up to that Raw headliner for next week was fine, but it's interesting to note that Reigns was the unwanted one in the situation. Fans seemed happy with the idea of Rollins vs. Owens, booing heavily when Roman became involved.

It almost seemed like everyone was content without Reigns being there at all, which is another step backwards for him.
