WWE Raw: 10 Things You May Have Missed (Sept 5)

Since the start of the brand extension, it's been clear that management are interested in pushing both Braun Strowman and Nia Jax heavily on television. In order to properly prepare them for elevated roles in their respective gender divisions, Strowman and Jax have been handed numerous squash victims on Raw.

Each week, they have rolled right over a piece of enhancement talent. Whilst Nia did so again on this week's broadcast, that lady turned out to be a storyline friend of Alicia Fox. This means that Jax will move on to feud with Fox, someone who will surely get some offensive leverage against her in matches.

Similarly, Braun Strowman went one-on-one with Sin Cara, who was furious over the giant's treatment of a fellow masked man last week. There are clear parallels between what's happening with Strowman and what WWE are looking to achieve in the women's division with Nia Jax.

Both are moving on from squash matches at roughly the same time, and both individual stories even have established stars defending enhancement talent. It's an interesting observation, WWE are presenting the same story with a few minor tweaks.
