WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (April 14th)
8. Tag, You're It
Early in the show, Shane McMahon alluded to the fact that a tournament would be held to crown number one contenders to The New Day's Tag Team Championships. Later, the champs came out to introduce the start of the competition, as well as the first match - The Dudley Boyz versus The Lucha Dragons.
A quick look at the brackets, though, and the winners leap out. Enzo and Big Cass and the Dudley Boyz are, in all likelihood, going to wrestle each other at Payback, so that takes them out of the equation. Still, Enzo and Cass will probably advance to the second round and meet the Dudleyz, which means the winner will come from the top bracket.
The top bracket boasts The Usos (whom The New Day have already wrestled many, many times), The Social Outcasts (who are already eliminated), The Golden Truth, and The Vaudevillains. Given that The Golden Truth are babyfaces, odds are that means The Vaudevillains are taking the whole thing. I guess it's a strong debut, at least.
