WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (April 21)

5. Wrestling Fans Don't Care About The Royal Family

It's a longshot, but if someone from WWE is reading this, take note - you guys can stop having heels bury the royal family at every single show in the U.K. Wrestling fans - be they British, American, or from any other nation - just don't care.

The Miz and Maryse did the honors this time, calling themselves a more important power couple than Prince William and Kate Middleton, then showing a picture of Prince George and talking about how unremarkable-looking he was. The theme was played out and the material was lousy.

Presumably, the whole thing was meant to get heat on the Intercontinental Champion, but it didn't work - WWE simply overestimated how much wrestling fans in London care about the billionaire figureheads. The crowd was pretty quiet while Miz and Maryse ran off the scripted lines.

Hoepfully, this was enough for WWE's lazy writers to take the hint. After all, Miz and Maryse probably would have gotten a better reaction if they insulted James Corden's parents.
