WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Feb 8)

5. Suplex City Abandoned?

Brock Lesnar is the most physically dominant champion in WWE history, and last night, he showed a bit of what makes him "The Beast." During a contract signing with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, "The Lunatic Fringe" tried to get in Lesnar's face, but the former UFC Champion was game for the challenge. He threw Ambrose into Reigns, knocking the former WWE Champion out of the ring, then hit Ambrose with a table before putting him down with an F5. Later that night, Ambrose called Lesnar out once more, and "The Beast" replied with a series of lariats and another F5. It was only after Ambrose hit a low blow that he was able to momentarily stun Lesnar. Despite his aggression, Lesnar never threw a single suplex! The man has become so synonymous with the move that "Suplex City" chants and signs follow him around the country, but last night, the fans were not indulged. It's not like Brock Lesnar needs to rely on a single move to believably inflict pain, but odds are any fans in attendance who bought "The Beast's" signature t-shirt were disappointed by the false advertising - clearly, Suplex City is nowhere near Seattle.
