WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Feb 8)

4. Seattle Loves Lana

WWE had a hot crowd in attendance for Raw. Bolstered by the emotional news that hometown hero Daniel Bryan would be announcing his retirement, the fans in attendance were electric throughout the night. Unfortunately, they weren't always cheering for what was happening in the ring in front of them. During the Charlotte-Alicia Fox match, a "We Want Lana!" chant broke out - surprising, considering Lana has never been positioned as a contender for the Divas' Championship, nor is she one of the more polished workers in the division (to be frank, she's barely a trained wrestler). Were the fans cheering her name because they wanted to see her, or because they know she's in hot water with management and they were trying to make higher-ups uncomfortable? The Lana chants resurfaced later in the show, when Rusev and Alberto Del Rio took on The Lucha Dragons. Due to Rusev's association with Lana and the fans' previous affinity for "The Ravishing Russian," these were to be expected. Still, backstage reaction couldn't have been positive.
