WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (March 14th)

3. Of Blood And Soda

After the match with Dolph, Triple H was attacked by Roman Reigns, who was making his return to Raw after a three-week layoff. The last time we saw Reigns, he was brutalized by Triple H - beaten to a bloody pulp against the announcers table, then subjected to a crotch chop as the crowd roared. The blood was fake last time, but here, HHH's head was legitimately busted open. This time, the beatdown wasn't so intense - in fact, it seemed downright comical at times. Triple H stumbled around ringside, the technical position, and the backstage area as Reigns hit some weak-looking offense, and even though HHH was bleeding profusely from the side of his head, the whole thing felt stilted. The most notable part of the brawl, in fact, came when Triple H grabbed a can of soda from the announcers' table and hit Reigns with it, trying in vain to make a comeback. The can exploded, shooting soda everywhere in an amusing scene. It was funny, but it simply underlined that Reigns's big return lacked gravity. and of course, the Pittsburgh crowd wasn't buying it.
