WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (May 30)
8. New Days Numbered?
The New Day looked to be on their way to another victory over The Vaudevillains when, without warning, they were attacked by Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The referee called for a disqualification, but that wasn't enough to stop The Club. They continued to attack The New Day, eventually laying Big E out with the Magic Killer.
This program poses a potential problem for New Day fans. Though The New Day has been absolutely great for months, most of their recent programs haven't had that "who's going to win?" drama. Having The Vaudevillains or The League of Nations win the WWE Tag Team Championships would have been insane, and even Y2AJ's challenge was telegraphed by the fact that it happened on TV.
With Anderson and Gallows, though, it's a different story. The two are clearly getting a push, and when they join up with Finn Balor, that'll only continue. It's hard to tell exactly when the challenge will happen (The Club still has unfinished business with AJ Styles, and I'd have thought that would be settled first), but it's quite possible that when it does, The New Day's reign will come to an end.
