Finally from Raw's opening segment, Roman Reigns made sure to put over the fact that he's the current WWE United States Champion. A brawl broke out between all the members of Team Raw, leading to Stephanie McMahon re-emerging to set up a Fatal-5-Way bout for later in the show.

Keeping his distance from Braun Strowman, Reigns then digested the news of his match for the evening and looked for his title. In the melee, he had dropped it inside the ring. Now, the reigning champ wanted that championship back over his shoulder. This led to one of Raw's most hilarious moments.

Moving towards the ring, Roman snatched his belt from the canvas. Trying to stop the US Champion from having his way, Kevin Owens (with the WWE Universal Title draped over his left shoulder) quickly stomped on the mat.

The Raw camera crew didn't really focus on this for too long, they had to get reactions from the likes of Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho. It's cool that Reigns didn't forget to pick up his title on the way out, putting over his status.
