Throughout Monday Night Raw, a number of pre-taped video packages aired featuring comments from both Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg. This was simple hype for Survivor Series, and a face-to-face confrontation between the pair was announced via an on-screen graphic for next week. That is WWE's last chance to convince those who don't subscribe to the Network that they simply have to before the pay-per-view.

Goldberg was up first, revealing that he has to prove to himself he can still tangle with monsters like Lesnar. When Brock's turn to speak occurred later in the broadcast, he offered up a chilling take on the Survivor Series battle.

Those watching on catch up may skip such segments, they are little more than recaps or hyperbolic fluff after all. If anyone did choose to hit the fast-forward button here, they will have missed Lesnar warning Goldberg not to let his wife or young son watch Survivor Series.

At the end of the skit, he even swore and said that 'hopefully' a wife and son would have a husband and father who was able to return home after the match. This was strong stuff, and is worth a watch.
