Chris Jericho made his then-WWF debut in the Summer of 1999. The following year, he engaged in a rivalry against Triple H that also meant he was feuding against Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. Since then, Steph has dropped the Helmsley moniker from her name and become the single most powerful female character on wrestling TV.

Things weren't always that way, something Jericho slyly referenced on this week's Raw. Approaching McMahon backstage, Y2J assured the Raw Commissioner that he wouldn't be wrestling if she couldn't find him his 'List Of Jericho'. Earlier, Seth Rollins had told Steph that she was on the list, causing friction.

In a brilliant moment, Jericho's smarmy personality came to the fore. Assuring Stephanie that she would never be on the list, Chris said that he had been in WWE for over 16 years and never once did he have a bad word to say about McMahon.

Longtime fans would have raised a smile at this had they picked up on the line. During that aforementioned feud in 2000-2001, Jericho called Stephanie every name under the sun, made fun of her breast enlargement surgery and generally treated her like dirt.
