Over the years WWE has had a nostalgic feeling to it every now and again and has thrown old school talent/legends onto their main show. Sadly many so-called legends are used for comedy spots but occasionally they do get put on the show to help further a storyline.

Remember when Roddy Piper came out to motivate John Cena? Or when Ricky Steamboat put on some fantastic matches at over 50 years old, proving he still has it, in his feud with Y2J? More recently RAW has featured talent from bygone years to help promote the 1000th episode, including Vader, Psycho Sid and DDP. Oh yeah, they also dragged out the Doink gimmick, but sadly Matt Bourne was nowhere to be seen.
